Monte Carlo, Monaco
TBA (Dates to be announced)
An electrically charged event that speeds around the tight bends of Monte Carlo, the Monaco E-Prix is a one-day extravaganza for automobile enthusiasts around the globe.
Originally announced in Paris, in 2011 by Jean Todt of the FIA (translating as the International Automobile Federation), the Formula E circuit made its official debut at the Olympic Park in Beijing, Asia 2014.
Differing from the iconic hybrid-drive cars used on the world-renowned Formula 1 circuit, Formula E features a collection of electric cars that are marginally slower than hybrid cars but maintain much of the same aesthetic design.
Featuring 24 racers from 12 teams in each race, the Monaco installment of the Formula E tournament shares the same track used in the iconic Monaco Grand Prix. Previously only using a shorter version of the track for the first three editions, missing out the hill, tunnel, and Casino Square, the track was altered in 2021 to use the full traditional track for the first time.
Partaking largely on temporary city-center street circuits, other famous cities featured on the Formula E program include Rome, Miami, and Hong Kong.
With practices, qualifiers, and the main races all happening on the same day, this event is a perfect match for a corporate yacht charter, offering an exclusive base to relax, mingle, and network in between races.
An ideal partnership with a Monaco yacht charter, the BOSS Emotion Club is the most exclusive hospitality experience attached to Formula E.
Boasting a range of exclusive perks and benefits, the Emotion Club sports unrivaled views of the racing plus a dedicated pit-lane walk.
With fine dining and champagne available throughout the event, yacht charter guests can enjoy a full-on social calendar featuring an in-house DJ and live entertainment, plus an exclusive Q&A session with the championship teams and racers.
Make the most of a day at the races by attending the popular Allianz E Village.
Regularly attracting around 40,000 visitors a day, the E Village houses a host of activities for everyone on a family yacht charter and offers another opportunity to meet the racers.
Available for autograph sessions and Driver's Presentations, the teams provide a buzz of excitement around the event and can even be raced against on the E-Race games at the exhibit.
Sounds of the E-Prix are lively with a resident DJ known as EJ who plays high-octane sets throughout the day. Setting the scene for an unforgettable day during a France yacht charter, visitors to the E Village can also get up close to many unique race and road cars from well-known car manufacturers like Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Nissan.
To top it all off, the Greentech Exhibition engages audiences to help save the planet by making small changes, including the Hydration Station which introduced 100% recyclable water pouches at the event and has already saved more than 300,000 single-use bottles since 2019.
Monaco is the ideal charter destination for family escapes or entertaining clients on South of France yacht charters. Boasting an enticing social calendar throughout the year with highlights including the world-famed casinos and Cafe De Paris, there are attractions to suit all charter guests.
Berths in the beautiful Port Hercule are high in demand during events yacht charters like the Formula E races, so booking in advance is highly recommended.
In addition to mooring in the marina, there are ample opportunities to take up VIP hospitality packages and of course plenty of space for some adrenaline-pumping watersports sessions on the waves.
