The successor to an immensely popular charter yacht of the same name, the 52m/171ft motor yacht ‘SEVEN SINS’ was the centre of attention when the team at YachtCharterFleet visited her at Sanlorenzo shipyard ahead of her delivery.
Conceived through the creative energies of an owner with over forty years of experience and the award-winning Italian designer Mauro Micheli, Seven Sins is a superyacht certain to impress the most discerning of charter guests.
Revealing the glistening water contained inside, the illuminated glass swimming pool on the aft deck of SEVEN SINS produced quite the spectacle as she sat in West Palm Beach.
Completing the elegant profile penned by her esteemed Italian architect, the pool is all the more impressive for forming the ceiling of the beach club below, allowing light to travel through the water for a truly stunning and functional effect.
Large enough to host each of the 12 guests the motor yacht is capable of accommodating, the feature likewise hints at the sophistication found throughout her exterior and interior spaces.
The most striking thing about the main salon of luxury yacht Seven Sins is surely the distinct lack of a formal dining space. A feature which typically occupies the section forward of the lounge area on the main deck, it was decided by Micheli that by moving the table to the skylounge, there would be more room for social activities in the main salon.
In order to create such an enhanced communal hub, the celebrated interior designer has thoughtfully separated the main salon into two dedicated areas. The first, located immediately upon entering the yacht is comprised of marble coffee tables and sofa seating, creating the perfect spot for some cocktails and conversation.
Situated just behind a low reflective cabinet, the second space contained by the main salon is a more casual chill out area, with a retractable television screen on offer for cozy movie nights.
Making the two spaces feel even larger, the main salon is encased by large windows which allow plenty of natural light to flow through during the day.
A highly luxurious retreat for the principal charter guest, the master cabin is accessed via a private office equipped with all the essentials for undertaking business at sea. Indeed, with a large desk to starboard and a well-stocked bookshelf to port, the on board working environment couldn’t be better.
Moving through to the sleeping area, guests will find a tranquil scene finished in white, beige, taupe, and brown fixtures. The ideal place to return to following a day spent out on the water, the cool atmosphere is made all the more inviting by the large windows which surround the cabin.
Highly optimised for charter vacations, superyacht Seven Sins is in every respect a floating paradise
With both a sofa and vanity area on hand to the guests making use of the master cabin, every last desire has been anticipated by the designer and his team.
What’s more, at the request of her owner, there has also been an extra large wardrobe installed to allow guests to store even more outfits when away on charter- a useful advantage when it comes to longer vacations which include stops at restaurants on the mainland.
The ensuite facilities are consistent with such impressive surroundings, and the large bath located between the his and hers dayheads is certain to please.
All situated on the lower deck, the remaining four cabins on board Seven Sins are each finished in a similarly refreshing style. Made up of two doubles and two twins, the overall configuration ultimately lends itself nicely to groups of both families and friends.
With warm bronze fixtures contrasted with enlivening white textures, each of the cabins offers an immersive setting for guests to return to, and all come with ensuite facilities.
Keeping everyone entertained once they’ve returned to their respective cabin for the night, OLED televisions have been artfully installed within a close distance to the beds. It should be pointed out that this incredibly high standard of audiovisual equipment is not found on many superyachts.
An attractive alternative to the main salon, the skylounge of superyacht Seven Sins provides the perfect environment to unwind either over a meal or simply a few drinks.
Indeed, with a dining table which can seat all of the 12 guests the superyacht is capable of accommodating, the space is the place to eat when not tucking into a delicious offering on the exterior.
Thanks to the glass bulwarks which line the exterior, charter guests are able to spend their time in the skylounge enjoying uninterrupted views of their cruising grounds
Consistent with the styling of the surrounding communal and guest spaces, the monochrome fixtures and furnishings conjure a pleasing atmosphere that’s sure to be appreciated by all who escape to this section throughout the day and night.
The sofa seating on offer also allows charter guests to stretch out and spend time with their friends and family in style.
Finished with pieces from the forward-thinking Italian designer Paola Lenti, the sundeck of superyacht Seven Sins presents an entirely comfortable setting for catching some rays with friends and family.
Totally flexible, there are both sunloungers and a more casual coffee table in the shade to provide for all the desires a charter guest is likely to experience.
With a large bar and al fresco dining area on hand to provide refreshment throughout the day, it’s easy to imagine how countless hours could be lost simply enjoying the climate and the surrounding ocean.
Not content with providing guests with only a single alfresco dining area, the designers and owner of Seven Sins have also seen to it that the exterior space outside of the skylounge is equipped with a similarly inviting table.
Flanked by serving bars and making use of dumbwaiter facilities, meals are easily brought to guests when dining here, and the arrangement enjoys the addition of thoughtfully placed candleholders to make it all but irresistible during the evening.
Reached via a wraparound walkway, the forward section of the upper deck is adorned with yet more sofa seating to provide a nice spot to take in approaching destinations in the best way possible.
Ultimately, the foredeck is the place to be during the day after dining alfresco, or, just as well, during the night for some dancing and partying.
As a vessel very much defined by a series of ‘crowning accomplishments’, it would be difficult to single out a feature which makes superyacht Seven Sins the masterpiece she is.
This being said, the swimming pool found on the aft deck is in many respects the centrepiece of the exterior, and deserves praise for its ingenious design.
Indeed, not only is the pool made entirely from glass, it also has a sophisticated countercurrent system which can transform it from a restful pool to one perfect for exercising in.
Not only this, but the system can also create a Jacuzzi section for those more inclined towards kicking back when getting wet.
Just as flexible as her other guest spaces, the swimming pool featured on board superyacht Seven Sins is perfect for both unwinding in and working out in
Ultimately, this versatility means that the pool can be used in a way that best serves the needs of those on board.
What’s more, with sunpads surrounding the swimming pool, it’s easy to imagine how this section of the yacht could usefully serve as a social hub when spending time outside.
Entered via doors on the aft, there is a collection of centrally placed furnishings for the entire party to unwind on. As mentioned previously, the light in this area is filtered through the glass of the swimming pool above, and the glistening effect contributes to the overall ambience.
A little further forward, there is an assortment of wellness facilities which includes a hammam, a steam room, and a shower for those returning from the water. It should also be mentioned that there is the unusual addition of a dayhead in this area, meaning that guests won’t find themselves needing to return to the main deck at any point.
Thanks to retractable balconies on the port and starboard sides, the space can be flooded with water to form a float-in tender garage for convenient boarding.
Whilst the yacht is laid out in this fashion, the furnishings can be moved onto the two balconies to form superb waterside chill out areas.
Ultimately, Seven Sins is a superyacht which contains the range of features one might expect of a much larger vessel. Remaining spacious, those on board are sure to make good use of each of these advantages during their vacation.
